The CHES 2024 rump session will be held Friday September 6th, from 20:00 and will chaired by Shivam Bhasin and Matthias Kannwischer. Presentations at the rump session are intended to be an informal, short and entertaining description of recent research results. Non-technical but entertaining presentations are also (actually, particularly!) welcome.
In order to get a presentation slot in the rump session, please send an e-mail to ches2024rump@iacr.org with the following information:
To limit time between in-person talks, PDF slides will concatenated into one PDF file. If any other format than a PDF file is strictly required for the presentation, please check with the rump-session chairs (ches2024rump@iacr.org) in advance and provide a very good reason for requesting a different format. Please note that "I want animations on my slides" is not a good reason; "I need to show a live stream of a whole rock band performing remotely" is a good reason. Any case in between will be democratically decided by the rump-session chairs.
Unfortunately, we cannot support remote talks this year. Any presenters who cannot join in-person, should submit a pre-recorded video of their talk. Submitters are free to demonstrate their creative video editing skills to make the talk more engaging.
