We have received reports of fraudulent emails offering hotel and travel booking assistance for CHES 2026.

As in previous years, FDTC 2026 is affiliated with CHES 2026, which is handling the official registration and payment process. This form exists only so the organizers of FDTC can send you last-minute updates and pointers to slides (and possibly videos) once they become available.

Registration for CHES 2026 is open and closes on 8 October 2026. The registration fees are as follows:

People who
register for the conference agree to abide by the
IACR code of conduct.
The all registration fees include access to the hotel's all-inclusive services during the conference period, including all meals, snacks, beverages (according to the hotel’s all-inclusive concept), and the use of the hotel’s standard recreational facilities.
The guest registration fee for an accompanying person includes access to the following events: the Welcome Reception and the conference banquet.
The regular registration fee for affiliated events and tutorials (on Sunday, October 11) is US$150, the student fee is US$75. Workshop late fee is an additional US$50. Participants who register only for the Affiliated Events or Tutorials on Sunday, October 11, will not have access to the Welcome Reception or any other main conference activities. However, affiliated event registration fees include access to the hotel’s all-inclusive services on Sunday, October 11, including all meals, snacks, beverages (according to the hotel's all-inclusive concept), and the use of the hotel's standard recreational facilities.
The deadline for refunds for registrations is October 4; please note that we have to charge a fee of US$150 for refunds of registration fees.
Current students who are presenting can get a registration fee waiver (see below).
Please register via the IACR CHES 2026 registration page before 8 October 2026.
Code of Conduct
People who register agree to abide by the IACR code of conduct.
Student Stipends
Students who seek financial assistance (i.e. a stipend or fee waiver, or more) please also write to [email protected] with the subject line "CHES 2026 stipend" before September 20 (and preferably as soon as possible). We will reply with the list of requested information. If you are not presenting, ask your advisor to write us email in support (one email can pertain to multiple students).
In all cases, please await a response before registering yourself (this saves us some trouble). If you ask for assistance, you will not be assessed a late fee if we respond too late for you to make the early registration deadline. Students who receive assistance should be prepared to show a student ID or other proof of affiliation at the registration desk.
Hotels and Accommodation
Please see Venue & Travel Information. Please book your hotel as early as possible, as another major event is scheduled at the same venue around the dates of CHES 2026, which may affect room availability.
